DESCRIPTION
Through engaging presentations and discussions, we aim to foster awareness, share best practices, and empower our employees to contribute to a more inclusive and equitable environment. This activity will be a collaborative journey towards a workplace that values diversity and ensures equity for all.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, healthcare executives, resident fellows, scientist researchers, and allied health professionals that practice in the hospital environment.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Identify biases affecting patient care.
  • Implement policies for an inclusive healthcare environment.
  • Identify barriers for equitable healthcare access.
  • Develop skills to advocate for diverse patient needs.
  • Apply practical approaches for equity in clinical settings.
