The Urgent Care Update course is focused and designed for the acute/urgent care provider. The course uses relevant lectures along with panel and round table discussions to provide opportunities to interact with faculty.

This conference is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals directly involved in providing acute or urgent medical care in primary care, emergency care or urgent care settings.
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Identify ways to manage patients with acute neurologic conditions such as headache, concussion, and febrile seizures
- Examine the clinical presentation and management of acute illness and injury seen in primary and urgent care settings
- Differentiate the different causes of acute abdominal pain and improve exam skills
- Formulate treatment options for the management of patients with severe hypertension and new onset atrial fibrillation
