Proton Beam Therapy uses pencil beam scanning to deliver concentrated radiation to the tumor while minimizing exposure to the surrounding healthy tissue. This unique scanning technology enables clinicians to precisely control the depth of penetration and target the beams energy to conform to the exact size and shape of the tumor.
