DESCRIPTION
The conference type rotates between grand rounds, case conference, journal club and research conference and are jointly presented by both Gastroenterology and Hepatology divisions.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended primarily for physicians, fellows, residents, and all allied health are encouraged to attend when the topic is relevant to their clinical practice.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  1. Identify advances in research, epidemiology and statistical techniques. 
  2. Examine and summarize the latest medical literature in a scientific forum by applying an evidence based approach
  3. Report the latest developments in gastroenterology and hepatology. 
  4. Select challenging GI and hepatology cases, debate management techniques and discuss literature pertinent to the case.
