DESCRIPTION
This is held weekly on Thursdays at 7:30 a.m.
The Division of infectious diseases at Mayo Clinic is comprised of over 70 infectious diseases consultants, fellows, and allied health staff. The infectious diseases case and research conference is a highly valued educational conference that provides important updates to the infectious diseases practitioner with the goal of implementing changes that lead to continual improvement in all three Mayo shields. This weekly one hour conference offers 2 infectious disease cases presented by infectious diseases fellows. Each case is discussed and a mini-review of the discussed topic is presented. CME will be offered for the Infectious Diseases fellow case presentations.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for infectious diseases physicians, microbiologists, mid-level providers, and physicians in training.
