DESCRIPTION
Medical Grand Rounds (MGR) is an essential medical lecture series for the Department of Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing and includes a variety of other departments. MGR provides up-to-date information and additional knowledge to assist in the delivery of care for patients. This course provides faculty with topics of interest outside of their immediate professional scope.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended primarily for Department of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Resident Fellows, and Scientist Researcher PhD. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe up-to-date information regarding cutting edge advances in medicine that are directly related to their clinical practice.
  • Apply actual skills, strategies, and techniques to modify their daily practice.
  • Integrate specific changes in the quality and effectiveness of treatment, thereby changing the results of patients' healthcare.
