DESCRIPTION
Medical Grand Rounds is a weekly forum to educate the Department of Medicine through lectures on advances in clinical practice, research, and medical education. 

MAYO STAFF: 
This series is for those who are participating by watching a pre-recorded presentation through the Video Exchange.  Visit the live series if you wish to participate real-time.  The live series is held weekly on Wednesdays from 12:10 pm - 1:00 pm.

  • Describe new, practice changing national guidelines, clinical pearls and updates from recent literature.
  • Explain recent advances in medical research, both “bench” and clinical, and application of medical research to the clinical practice.
  • Cite current issues, controversies and advancements in graduate medical education, continuing medical education, education and philosophy.  
  • Describe professionalism, including protecting professionalism, career development, threats to professionalism, the patient-physician relationship and the promotion of physician well-being and resiliency.
