APBN Self-Assessment Opportunity
This course offers an 8-credit post-conference ABPN self-assessment module (100 questions).  Please note: You must be registered for the course to register for the self-assessment and the questions will be released on July 22, 2018. 

Beginning on July 22, 2018 and ending at 11:59 PM on Thursday, August 16, 2018 the 100-question Self-Assessment quiz is available for you to complete.  Please note, this timeframe is determined by ABPN’s reporting requirement and cannot be extended. 

  • Learners have two attempts to get at least 80% of the questions correct. 
  • The quiz is worth 8 MOC SA credits.
  • We will report your credit to ABPN by the end of August, 2018 for learners who passed the quiz.

Target Audience

This course is designed for neurologists, general internists, family physicians, and allied health personnel who treat patients with neurologic problems.

The Westin River North has reserved a limited block of traditional rooms at a special group rate of $249 (USD), single or double occupancy, run of house, per night, for course participants and guests. Extra person charge, $30 per night, children under 18 years of age stay for free in their parents’ room using existing bedding.  Group rates apply three days prior to and three days after the course dates, based on group room availability. To ensure accommodations at the discounted rate, make your reservations directly with the hotel before the block is full or by June 24, 2018, whichever comes first.   Indicate you are an attendee of the Mayo Clinic Neurology course when making your reservation.

The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology has reviewed the Mayo Clinic, Neurology in Clinical Practice 2018 course and has approved this program as part of the Maintenance of Certification Self-Assessment (SA) Program, which is mandated by the ABMS as a necessary component of Maintenance of Certification.

This activity awards up to 8 Self- Assessment credits. The approval period is for January 1, 2018- January 1, 2021

Other Health Care Professionals
A certificate of attendance will be provided to other health care professionals for requesting credits in accordance with state nursing boards, specialty societies, or other professional associations.

Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cme@mayo.edu. When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received.
