Hypothermia & Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) Protocols Workshop Description
Implementing targeted temperature management (TTM) and interpreting the data behind its use in neurological conditions can be complex and even controversial. This workshop explores the mechanisms behind TTM, the different means of employing TTM, the side effects associated with its use, and the evidence for the use of TTM in a variety of neurological conditions. While its use in other settings will be discussed, TTM in cardiac arrest will serve as the focus of the workshop and cardiac resuscitation and neurological prognostication in the era of TTM will be touched upon as well.
