Consistent with all prior ICFTD meetings, the focus with be on the presentation of new data relating to FTD spanning the key areas of clinical, neuropsychology, neuroimaging, genetics, biofluid markers, molecular biology, neuropathology, animal models and treatment. While established investigators will surely present updated concepts and breakthroughs, involvement by trainees will be highlighted via oral and poster presentations. In keeping with the longstanding philosophy of the MCSCPD, clinicians seeking education on FTD will be welcome. Additionally, concurrent educational sessions for patients and care partners covering diagnosis, management, support and empowerment will also be provided.
