This advanced course delves into the forefront of neuro-oncology, offering a thorough review of the latest advancements, including cutting-edge research, emerging therapies, and evolving clinical practices. Designed for healthcare professionals specializing in brain tumor management and treatment, the program introduces innovative strategies that enhance diagnostic precision, personalize treatment plans, and improve patient outcomes. Participants will engage with the latest findings through expert-led lectures, in-depth literature reviews, and interactive case discussions, complemented by hands-on simulations that provide practical, real-world application.

Abstract Submissions

As part of the course, we will host a poster session for the presentation of original research dedicated to the field of neuro-oncology. Attendees are invited to submit a research abstract summarizing original clinical research, basic research work, or case presentations. Two awards will be given, Clinical Research Award and Basic Science Award. If accepted, at least one author of the poster must attend the live course to present. Accepted abstracts will receive a reduced registration fee of $150. The submission deadline for abstracts is August 12, 2025.  For further information, please review the submission form or email questions to FLA CME Abstracts.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss state-of-the-art treatment options for malignant and nonmalignant CNS tumors.
  • Evaluate the impact of molecular features on tumor behavior and response to therapy.
  • Recognize the value of a multidisciplinary approach to the patient with a CNS tumor.
  • Discuss innovative therapies for primary and secondary CNS malignancies.
