DESCRIPTION
The Neurovascular Stroke Education Series invites consultants and trainees to an interactive discussion of neurovascular cases. Attendees are encouraged to submit cases ahead of time for review and discussion among multidisciplinary colleagues from neurology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care, and neuroradiology. Neurovascular anatomy, clinical pathology, and innovations in diagnosis and treatment will be presented as topics of discussion. This conference offers an interactive forum to present complex cases and expand the knowledge of its attendees while cultivating, an environment of collaboration among different specialties.
In-Person and Live-Streamed; Weekly on Thursdays from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Resident Fellows, Scientist Researcher PhDs, and Students.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Define neurovascular and functional anatomy.
- Identify appropriate management options for specific cases and disorders.
- Adopt evidence-based practice measures in neurosurgery, neurology, and neurocritical care.
- Identify areas in need for clinical improvements in cerebrovascular disorders.
