Integrated Behavioral Health: The Importance of and Evidence for Population-Based Mental Health Care
Olivia Bogucki, Ph.D.
Dr. Olivia Bogucki is a second-year medical psychology fellow in the clinical health psychology track at Mayo Clinic. While her primary clinical, research, and teaching focus is in integrated behavioral health, she has a broad depth and breadth of training and expertise in health psychology. Her program of research focuses on the effectiveness of psychotherapy in the primary care setting with a special interest in depressive and anxiety disorders. She has published 11 manuscripts, three of which are first author, and prepared five book chapters. In addition, she has authored patient education materials, interactive modules, and mental health-related articles for the general public. She holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor of Psychology.

5-HT2AR Agonist Psilocybin as an Adjunct to Addiction Treatment: Promising and Problematic
Joseph Carley, M.D.
Dr. Carley is an addiction psychiatry fellow at Mayo Clinic Rochester. He completed his medical school at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) and subsequent psychiatry residency at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (WPIC) of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). After residency he joined Kaiser Permanente in Southern California where he helped to lead a dual diagnosis outpatient clinic for 3 years prior to entering the addiction fellowship. He has a longstanding passion for evidence-based treatment of substance use disorders in order to support recovery for people who struggle with addiction. He has paid close attention to the research on the medical application of psychedelics and enjoys helping to make sense of it for others. He has plans to return to Southern California, specifically San Diego, later this year. He is actively working on a review article on therapeutic approaches to opioid use disorder and has a strong interest in promoting harm-reduction approaches to addiction.

- Summarize recent and ongoing research on psilocybin within addiction treatment.
- Recognize the problematic aspects of psilocybin.
