Gain knowledge on the latest recommendations involving medical specialties important to the urgent care setting that can be immediately applied into practice. The Urgent Care Update course is focused and designed for the acute/urgent care provider. The course uses relevant lectures along with panel and round table discussions to provide opportunities to interact with faculty.
Target Audience
This course is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses in primary car, emergency medicine, and urgent care.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Formulate treatment options for the management of patients with severe hypertension and new onset atrial fibrillation
- Identify ways to manage patients with acute neurologic conditions such as headache and concussion
- Examine the clinical presentation and management of acute illness and injury seen in primary and urgent care settings
