  • Identify medicolegal liability for responders to IMEs 
  • Outline the basic medical equipment and other resources typically available on commercial airlines
  • Describe the most common in-flight medical emergencies (IMEs) occurring during commercial air travel
  • Articulate the role of a healthcare professional in flight diversion and on-board medical decision making for IMEs
