DESCRIPTION
Oral Health Grand Rounds is hosted by Dental Specialties on the 3rd Friday of each month, offering a one-hour, Zoom-based, CE opportunity for dental providers on the Mayo Clinic staff as well as community dental practices. Our goal is to increase the reach of these presentations for internal audience by allowing internet-based registration and provision of CE certificates. With this in place, we hope to increase the number of attendees from Mayo Clinic to educate on oral health issues that impact overall health.
 
Live-Streamed; Once a month on Friday from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Dental Staff, Allied Health Professionals, Dentists, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Residents/Fellows, Social Workers and Students.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Analyze knowledge of dental topics as it relates to improving and maintaining oral health status of patients.
• Summarize topic as it relates to dentistry and improving care for patients.
• Describe how to enhance communication with colleagues and team members to improve equity, diversity and inclusion.
