Dear Residents, Fellows, and Students:
It is our great pleasure to invite you to submit an abstract to be included in an electronic poster session at the Mayo Clinic’s Current Concepts in Extracorporeal Life Support conference December 4-7, 2024, at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL.
Given the success of last year’s abstract symposium, we are pleased to announce that the course will be offering a venue to present abstracts from all medical trainees. Abstracts highlighting topics from within the broad category of temporary mechanical circulatory support will be considered. These can be medically challenging cases, case series, or scientific studies. Abstracts will be reviewed by our course directors and decisions regarding acceptance will be made on a rolling basis. Trainees with accepted abstracts will receive a discounted course fee ($750). All abstracts will require presentation at the Thursday evening e-poster session (Thursday, December 4, 2024, beginning at 5:00pm) to be held at the Kinne Auditorium at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville.
At least one of the authors must register and attend the conference.
