Learning Objectives:
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Differentiate between agnostic and non-agnostic microbiological testing
  • Develop comfort, if reasonably apprehensive, when ordering metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS)
  • Debate the value and pitfalls of mNGS as a diagnostic tool in neurology
