DESCRIPTION
Regional based case review of identified M&M cases or self-presented interesting cases.  There is an overview of the case as well as identifying areas of improvements as well as educational pearls.

Live-Streamed; Monthly on the Fourth Thursday from 8:00-10:00a.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants and Resident Fellows.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Utilize the most appropriate labs and radiologic studies for our emergency medicine population. 
  • Identify “red flags” in common presenting conditions that merit further workup.  
  • Identify “systems issues” that lead to morbidity or inefficiency in ED care.
  • Identify variability in practice for workup and treatment of emergent conditions.
