DESCRIPTION
The intent of this educational meeting is to discuss opportunities for improved patient care and outcome given experiences in less than optimal outcomes in our transplant patients.  The audience is a mix of staff within the transplant center including coordinators, surgical faculty, medical physicians, residents, students, and fellow trainees.  

In-Person and Live-Streamed; Weekly on Tuesdays from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Processionals, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Psychologists, Registered Dietitians, Resident Fellows, Social Workers and Students.  

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

1. Identify opportunities for improvement in care of future patients given frank discussions of suboptimal outcomes.
2. Describe how a collaborative approach to patient care can help reduce patient harm.
3. Identify ways to collaborate with colleagues for multidisciplinary patient care.
4. Demonstrate the need for standardized systems processes streamlining patient care pathways and strategies to monitor patient outcomes.
