Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Review the importance of quality improvement (QI) within the Critical Care Department.​

  • Describe five ongoing quality improvement (QI) projects and their impact on ICU team members.​

  • Demonstrate an understanding of how to design and implement quality improvement (QI) projects in the ICU setting.
