Loews Portofino Bay Hotel has reserved a block of rooms for course participants and guests at a special group rate of $269 (USD), per room, per night, single or double occupancy, plus applicable state and city taxes. Group rates will apply three days prior to and three days after the course dates, based on group room availability. Children under 18 years of age stay complimentary with adult. Resort fee is waived; complimentary premium internet access in guest rooms and self-parking for group dates. Reduced health club fee of $8 per person/per usage. 

To ensure accommodations, call Loews Reservations Center, (866) 360-7395, before the room block fills or by February 13, 2017. A deposit equal to one (1) night’s stay is required and will be charged for each individual’s reservation that is made. Reservation requests received after February 13 will be accepted at the group rate based on group room availability. When making a reservation, identify yourself as a participant of the Mayo Clinic Gastroenterology course. 

The cancellation of guaranteed reservations must be received five (5) days prior to arrival in order to avoid a charge equal to one night’s room and applicable taxes. 

Lodging arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.

Mayo School of CPD is not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting. Costs incurred by the registrant such as airline or hotel fees or penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.

Ground Transportation
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is located approximately 25 minutes or 15 miles from Loews Portofino Bay Hotel.

Hertz is offering a reduced daily rate for participants attending the course. Call 800-654-2240 (toll-free) and refer to the exclusive CV03NR0012 when making reservations, or visit Hertz online.  Special rates include unlimited mileage.  Advance reservations are recommended as cars are subject to availability.

Mears Transportation offers airport transportation services to and from area hotels and businesses.  To make reservations, visit their website or call 855-4-MEARS-NOW (855-463-2776).

Taxi service is available from the airport for an approximate fare of $55 (USD) each way.
