Positron Emission Tomography Certification Exam Preparatory Course

Mayo School of Health Sciences at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn offers a 2.5 credit online didactic course in Positron Emission Tomography (PET).  This course covers the fundamentals of PET imaging and is appropriate for new and veteran technologists as review for the Nuclear Medicine Technology Board PET specialty certification examination.  All course content is in English. While this course prepares you for the PET specialty certification examination, completion of 700 clinical hours, as outlined by the NMTCB must be completed to be eligible for the certification examination.  This course includes only didactic resources and content for PET and does not fulfill the clinical experience required by the NMTCB for PET specialty certification examination eligibility.
