Esophageal disease is a rapidly-developing area marked by significant advances in diagnosis, therapy and identification of new diseases. In this course, a comprehensive approach will be taken to explore these exciting advancements including high-resolution manometry, FLIP topography, impedance monitoring, new techniques in endoscopic detection and treatment of Barrett’s esophagus, and insights into the evolving approach to eosinophilic esophagitis, as well as updated management strategies for rumination.
A special feature of this program is a hands-on workshop for interpretation and performance of motility studies, new endoscopic imaging techniques, and endoscopic treatments including mucosal resection, radiofrequency ablation, cryotherapy, and endoscopic myotomy.
New this year is a breakout session designed specifically for advanced practice providers and nurses. High-resolution manometry, gastroesophageal reflux disease, achalasia and clinical management of Barrett’s Esophagus will be discussed.
