5th Annual Gastroenterology and Hepatology Update with Interactive Live Endoscopy - 2019 (Friday and Saturday)

This course will provide the latest, state-of-the-art information on the diagnosis and management of common disorders such as colon cancer and pancreas cancer; functional dyspepsia; new concepts in culinary medicine; IBD; colon polyp management; new interventional endoscopy; management of alcoholic hepatitis, fatty liver, and Hepatitis C; and updates on new and existing therapies for hepatocellular carcinoma. Course format will offer didactic lectures, an interactive and dynamic live-endoscopy session, panel discussions, and Q & A. Active audience participation is strongly encouraged (keypads will be used).
The "live" endoscopy surgery will be video-conferenced to the Scottsdale Mayo Clinic campus. Participants will have the unique opportunity to ask questions of the endoscopists while the procedures are taking place. Plan to join us for the LIVE Endoscopy on Friday afternoon and didactic lectures on Saturday!

- Review surgical, loco-regional & medical treatments for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) according to disease stage & patient functional status
- Appraise current treatment paradigms for hepatitis C in the direct-acting antiviral era
