Primary Care Nursing 2022 CNE Conference
This course offers LIVE (in person) and LIVESTREAM attendance options.

This conference will provide a variety of topics focused on primary care for newborns through geriatric patients. Updates in practice will be presented focused on new care delivery methods, diversity and cultural care considerations, immunization updates, unique patient populations, self-care, and quality metrics.
*COVID Guidelines for attendance at in-person conferences*
- To protect our communities, learners, and staff, effective March 1, 2022, all Mayo Clinic live (in-person) conference attendees must complete COVID-19 testing within 72 hours or less of the event start date and provide attestation that a negative test result was received OR provide attestation that a lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 test result was received within the previous 90 days, that it has been at least 10 days since the positive test, and that you are currently asymptomatic.
- Attendees must wear masks at all times.

Target Audience
This CNE conference is designed for RNs, LPNs, medical assistants, and healthcare professionals in all primary care healthcare settings.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify two new care delivery methods in primary care.
- Outline diversity and cultural care considerations.
- List one immunization update.
- Describe self-care strategies.
- Identify quality measures in primary care.

Beverly Hutcherson, MS
As a Biologist, Beverly seeks to apply her knowledge in efforts that bridge that gap between the biomedical community and the public. Having navigated a variety of clinical laboratory, academic research, outreach and allied health care positions, she is excited to share her expertise in supporting the next generation of STEM and clinical health care workers. Beverly has given over 15 keynote talks and is a sought-after speaker on a variety of topics ranging from effective DEI strategies to biology and health equity to STEM education.
Academically Beverly holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Marquette University, graduate training in Sustainability Leadership and Social Innovation from Edgewood College and is completing her Master of Science in Reproductive Endocrinology Physiology at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Through the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Wisconsin National Primate Center, Beverly is investigating Anti-Mullerian Hormone’s role in inhibiting meiotic progression in the follicles of human and non-human primates with polycystic ovary syndrome.
Originally from Milwaukee, WI, a first generation college student, Beverly has overcome many seemingly insurmountable obstacles. This has motivated her to lift as she climbs. Beverly is the advisor for the UW-Madison chapter of AHANA- MAPs Pre-Health Society and has been involved with restorative justice efforts for young people, community health education, and served on the Dane County Food Council looking to create policy recommendations to reduce food waste and increase equity and access for underserved populations. Beverly also serves on the executive board as the secretary of Operation Fresh Start.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Welcome to the Primary Care Nursing 2022 CNE Conference. Course materials will be available at the registration check-in an hour before the start of the conference.
Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cne@mayo.edu.
If the cancellation is made prior to the start of the activity, a refund less an administration fee of $25 will be issued. If the cancellation is made after the start of the activity, no refund will be issued. All refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment.
