This online, didactic course is designed to assist technologists with MRI certification preparation as well as serve as a review source for veteran technologists. This self-directed, learner paced course will provide an interactive learning approach in which the learner will have the opportunity to assess comprehension through check-on learnings interspersed within each content section. Upon successful completion of each comprehensive course assessment, continuing education credit will be awarded. For technologists who purchase the MRI Certification Exam Preparatory - Full Course, a mock registry exam with feedback will assist with the identification of gaps in retention and comprehension.

The course is designed for learners to select their own learning path; it should take no longer than 6 months to complete. Once purchased, the course will remain available to the learner until the course expiration date.

This course only includes didactic resources and content. It does not fulfill the clinical MRI experience requirements specified by ARRT to sit for the MRI Certification Examination. The MRI Certification Exam Preparatory - Full Course does meet the minimum 16 hours of structured education required for post-primary certification through ARRT. It is recommended, but not required, that learners participate in a clinical experience during this course.
