  • Objective 1: Describe a cautionary example of malingering in end-of-life care. 

  • Objective 2:  Demonstrate the importance of validating diagnosis to protect hospice resources.

  • Objective 3:  Provide an example of the need for a nationally coordinated EHR system. 
  • Objective 4:  Consider how a team approach is required to uncover complicated social situations in a timely manner and with minimal impact on care delivery to other patients.
