Dr. Lisa Gudenkauf is a second-year Clinical Health Psychology fellow at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa in 2011 and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami in 2016. She completed her internship in the Clinical Health Psychology program at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI. Dr. Gudenkauf’s research has focused primarily on examining the efficacy of psychosocial interventions for enhancing coping among cancer survivors and implementing these interventions in clinical practice. She currently serves as co-Principal Investigator of a Department of Psychiatry & Psychology small grant-funded translational trial of cognitive-behavioral cancer stress management at Mayo Clinic.
2nd Speaker
Dr. Guillermo Leoz Callizo is an Addiction Psychiatry Fellow at Mayo Clinic’s Addiction Psychiatry program. He is originally from Asuncion, Paraguay. He graduated from medical school at the Universidad Nacional de Asuncion in Paraguay, summa cum laude. He then moved to New York City with his wife and completed his Psychiatry residency at Metropolitan Hospital Center (New York Medical College). Following his addiction fellowship he is continuing his career in Houston, Texas.
