Speaker 1

Christopher M. Wittich, M.D., Pharm.D. is a Professor of Medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He is a Consultant in the Division of General Internal Medicine and his clinical practice includes consultative medicine and executive medicine. Dr. Wittich currently serves as the Vice-Chair of Outpatient Practice for the Department of Medicine. Dr. Wittich earned Pharm.D. (with Honors in Pharmacy and with Highest Distinction) from University of Iowa and M.D. from Mayo Medical School. He completed residency in Internal Medicine and at the Mayo Clinic and served as a chief medical resident. Dr. Wittich’s scholarly activities focus on medical education research, especially in continuous professional development. He is the Editor in Chief of the Mayo Clinic Internal Medicine Board Review Textbook.

 

Speaker 2
Chris Stephenson, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He is a Consultant in the Division of General Internal Medicine and his clinical practice includes Executive medicine and Consultative Medicine. Dr. Stephenson currently serves as the firm chief for scholarship for the Internal Medicine continuity clinic, co-course director for Mayo Medical School’s EBM curriculum, and course director for Internal Medicine Board Review and Trending Topics in Internal Medicine. He earned his M.D. from Southern Illinois University and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, serving as a chief resident. Dr. Stephenson’s area of research focuses on continuous professional development, specifically engagement, faculty evaluation, and student assessment. He is an associate editor for the Mayo Clinic Internal Medicine Board Review Textbook.
