Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Apply state-of-the-art practice for vaginal, robotic and laparoscopic hysterectomy to current practice
- Compare a variety of minimally invasive treatment options for uterine fibroids
- Evaluate the latest developments in the field and explore future directions regarding a new technique for contained morcellation
- Assess the management of pelvic pain and endometriosis, including excision of advanced endometriosis Identify the most common complications in laparoscopic, robotic and hysteroscopic procedures and develop strategies to avoid them during surgery
- Determine how to select which patients are appropriate for surgery
