DESCRIPTION
Grand Rounds occur every Monday at noon - 1 p.m. and are located in Gonda 10-101 Christensen Family Lecture Hall
TARGET AUDIENCE
Grand Rounds are attended by a broad audience including physicians, surgeons, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, technologists, research and support personnel with a wide variety of backgrounds that share in the care of patients undergoing transplantation.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1. explain how to provide a high level of care to patients needing organ transplants and related services.
2. assess the value of recent developments in organ transplantation and translate them to their practice.
3. describe the depth and breadth of transplant related research happening at Mayo Clinic and its impact on care here and elsewhere.
4. develop new strategies for optimization of therapy in the transplant population.
5. explain how to initiate new research directions as a result of collaboration.
