DESCRIPTION
The Anatomic Pathology Grand Rounds venue utilizes experts in the field of Anatomic Pathology who are at the forefront of cutting edge diagnostic, ancillary and molecular techniques. Presentations given by an Anatomic Pathology consultant or visiting professor focus on the advancement of the field of pathobiology through diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic applications and the direct impact they have on quality patient care.
In-Person and Live-Streamed; Monthly on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 p.m.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Physicians, Resident Fellows, Scientist Researcher, PhDs, Students, and Pathologist Assistants.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Develop a foundation of diagnostic pathology concepts through molecular biology topics.
- Apply diagnostic pathology concepts to ensure accurate diagnosis and disease classification.
- Utilize learned molecular biology and immunohistochemistry concepts to diagnostic pathology.
