  • Apply quantitative aspects of inhaled agent and carrier gas uptake in clinical practice 
  • Describe why inhaled agent and carrier gas delivery needs to be automated 
  • Describe opioids differently affect the partial pressures of inhaled anesthetics needed for different clinical end-points 
  • Describe how modern technology incorporates or will incorporate the above concepts
  • Translate quantitative concepts into cost calculations
