DESCRIPTION
Monthly meeting discussing patient cases, complications, practice changes, and an educational article to be presented by one of the disciplines represented - behavioral health, exercise physiology, bariatric medicine, dietician, bariatric surgeon - for continued education for management of bariatric patients.

In-Person and Live-Streamed; Monthly on the Second Thursday from 7:00-8:00 a.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Psychologists, Registered Dietitians, Resident Fellows, Therapists, and Exercise Physiologists. 
 
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, presenters should be able to:
  • Identify current standards of care for metabolic surgery patients.
  • Recognize complications of metabolic surgery.
  • Summarize key components of preoperative management of metabolic surgery patients.
