PRESENTER BIO

Kate MacDuffie, PhD MA is Associate Research Director at the Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics and Palliative Care at Seattle Children's Research Institute and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington. She holds a PhD in clinical psychology from Duke University and a Masters in bioethics from the University of Washington. Dr. MacDuffie's research is focused on understanding the ethical and social impacts of advances in neuroscience on children and adults affected by psychiatric, neurological, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
