Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Describe how flow is imaged and quantified with cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR)
  • Illustrate how 4D flow MRI is used to improve clinical CMR of congenital heart disease and valvular heart disease
  • Summarize recent studies using 4D flow MRI to better understand the pathophysiology of thoracic aorta disease
