DESCRIPTION
The target audience is the cardiovascular surgery advanced practice providers that work at Mayo Clinic Rochester.  These sessions will range from PCU and ICU. Live viewing is also an option and will be recorded to the Video Exchange to the Coffee Talk Channel. 

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for nurse practitioners and physician assistants currently working within the department of cardiovascular surgery at Mayo Clinic Rochester.  This includes new staff still within orientation and all learners who are currently working in cardiovascular surgery.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Report increased self-confidence in caring for patients within cardiovascular surgery
  • Explain how to incorporate evidence based practice into current practice in cardiovascular surgery
