5th Annual Multimodality Cardiovascular and Thoracic Imaging 2019 - Track A
Course Directors:
Brian Shapiro, M.D., Patricia Mergo, M.D. and Carolyn Landolfo, M.D.
Track A features a four-day interactive and didactic forum for learning about various cardiovascular imaging modalities with breakout focus sessions. Each day will reflect a different theme such as structural heart disease, ischemic heart disease, heart failure and cardiomyopathies, as well as congenital heart disease. Lectures will be case-based and explore the relative science of each topic. Intermittently, multiple speakers will integrate their talks so the learner can be engaged from different viewpoints including cardiology, radiology and surgery. The forum incorporates innovative technologies to bring the learner to the procedures with taped, moderated broadcasts of TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures. Learn directly from the experts in a personal, interactive format that is geared to provide a fresh, innovative, and exciting forum for education.
