  1. Identify the different human pluripotent stem cells (hPSC) types – human embryonic stem cells and human induced pluripotent stem cells
  2. Describe the concepts of differentiation of hPSC to cardiomyocytes and specific heart cell subtypes
  3. Describe the potential applications of hPSC-derived cardiomyocytes for cardiovascular regenerative medicine, for myocardial infarction and conduction system repair
  4. Describe the potential implications of the human induced pluripotent stem cell technology for modeling inherited cardiac disorders and for drug screening and drug development
