- Identify the different human pluripotent stem cells (hPSC) types – human embryonic stem cells and human induced pluripotent stem cells
- Describe the concepts of differentiation of hPSC to cardiomyocytes and specific heart cell subtypes
- Describe the potential applications of hPSC-derived cardiomyocytes for cardiovascular regenerative medicine, for myocardial infarction and conduction system repair
- Describe the potential implications of the human induced pluripotent stem cell technology for modeling inherited cardiac disorders and for drug screening and drug development
