December 8 - Anatomy Lab, Mayo Clinic - Rochester, Minnesota

This course, held in the anatomy lab with physical therapy faculty, begins with a brief review of major body regions, followed by structured cadaver-based stations on upper body anatomy. The final session offers guided practice for questions and clinical applications, deepening participants’ understanding and application of anatomy.

Target Audience

The intended audience includes occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, physical therapists, and physical therapist assistants.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify anatomical structures of the upper body on human cadaveric specimens. 
  • Describe how upper body anatomical structure and function relates to clinical examination techniques.
  • Relate upper body anatomical structure and function to clinical conditions, occupations, and procedures.
