Cardiac Rhythm Devices Online CNE Conference

This CNE conference is designed to enhance clinical practice to care for patients with cardiac implantable devices. Topics include cyber security, PTSD and body image, programming pacemaker/ICD devices, artificial intelligence, device advisories and recalls, infection, and end of life care.

Target Audience

This online conference is designed for cardiovascular technicians (CVT), registered cardiovascular specialists (RCIS), registered cardiac electrophysiology specialists (RCES), pacemaker nurses and technicians, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, and cardiac rhythm analysis technician (CRATs).

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Outline technology advancements enhancing care of patients with cardiac devices
  • Describe strategies for having sensitive conversations with cardiac device patients
  • List key elements and processes for programming cardiac devices
  • Identify ways for all roles to work at the top of scope of licensure
