We will provide optional in-water activities including 5 optional CME opportunities during the surface intervals. We will depart from the hotel lobby at 1 pm everyday Mo-Thurs, taking ground transportation to the marina. On Friday we will leave the Hotel lobby at 8:30 am, so we can keep an appropriate pre-flight interval for Saturday May 9thdepartures.

For participants who arrive on Saturday May 2nd, we will dive on Sunday morning leaving the hotel at 9 am.

The prices for the 2026 optional activities are as follows:

2 air tank boat dive $116 (includes 16% taxes, marine park fee $12,  tip for the boat crew $15 and ground transportation to the marina to save daylight hours)

Nitrox tanks  80 cf (32% or 36%) or Large Nitrox 100 cf tank $13/$16 per tank.

Night dive Wednesday night (includes tip for the boat crew) $60. Light rental per day/night $5.

Nitrox certification (includes 2 Nitrox tanks) in addition to the boat diving fee $170

Refresher course in addition to the boat diving fee which is required for certified divers who have not dove for more than 3 years and less than 5 years. $50

Reactivate course in addition to the boat diving fee, which is required for certified divers how have not dove for 5 or more years. $130 (includes online modules and PADI certificate).

Open Water course referral fee in addition to the boat diving fee for divers who completed their pool classes and wish to complete their open water dives during their stay. $100

Rental fee per day: BC $15, Regulator $15 (both together $25), Computer $10, Wetsuit $10. Dive computers are rented on a first come first serve basis, so please reserve early or purchase your own computer (which is highly recommend for this safety device). Diving should be done with a dive computer as required by all training agencies.

Mask, fins are at no charge for our course participants (but remember these are comfort devices and buying your own will ensure comfortable fit to your face and feet).

We will again arrange on Thursday afternoon for a pleasure snorkel trip to El Cielo (or an alternative location in case of inclement weather). The cost will vary depending on what size boat we will need, which will be split among the boat riders. The dive operator estimates $80 per snorkeler, includes drinks and ceviche. Please sign up with the dive operator and pay on site during the reception on Sunday. This activity is subject to a minimum number of participants. We are planning to meet the divers at El Cielo during their surface interval.

Please contact Caribbean Divers directly at caribbeandivers@gmail.comor WhatsApp +52 987 111 5099 to reserve your water activities.

In order to provide the right number of boats and equipment, the dive operator needs to plan and may need to rent additional boats, so the rates are based on prepayment either by Zelle to 904 515-9051 (Cesar Zepeda) or by credit card to Caribbean Divers. They will provide a credit card link and will incur an additional 5% bank fee.

Walk-up divers will be accommodated based on space availability and incur a surcharge of $14 per day.

If the dive activity is canceled by the dive operator, refunds will be provided to the original form of payment.

We will again offer an optional weight and equipment check (for certified divers only) at the hotel beach club, renting a tank and weights from the hotel dive shop “Dive Paradise”. I would strongly recommend to fill out their liability waiver forms online using this link.

https://forms.zohopublic.com/diveparadise/form/DiverRegistrationForm/formperma/C1PMTJKZud6htA2MJ4oJX6qMdDDTn_cQUnyr0x1MG1E so you are ready to go when you get there. (Please remember that our course dive operator is Caribbean Divers and only the optional weight and equipment check will be with Dive Paradise, so that is why 2 liability waivers are needed, one for each dive operator if you choose to participate in the optional weight and equipment check). Rental equipment for the weight and equipment check can be picked up at Caribbean Divers or delivered to the hotel. Please make arrangements with Caribbean Divers for any equipment.

On Tuesday afternoon back by popular demand we were again able to secure another art workshop session at the beach with famous artist Leydi Alejandra Mari Rivero starting at 5:30 in the afternoon. She will bring everything and all you need to bring is curiosity and creativity to learn and paint in raised color. The cost will be $55 per person and includes all the materials and instructions. Please pay directly on site during the reception on Sunday. Hilariana | Facebook
