Mayo Clinic Application of Quality Improvement Tools and Methods for Problem Solving – Silver Level is a comprehensive program on the identification of quality gaps and the application of quality improvement tools and methods to solve quality deficiencies. Attendees in this course understand the importance of quality improvement in health care and make it a part of what they do every day. They know how to measure quality in order to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement and obtain the skills and knowledge to become problem solvers.

Target Audience
This course is designed for Physicians, Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Residents/Fellows, Students, Pharmacists, Scientists, Healthcare Executives, and any other health care staff member including but not limited to secretaries, administrative assistants, desk attendant, finance, food service, maintenance workers, educators.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Articulate the case for patient-centered quality improvement in health care and why it is important to all of us
- Identify, measure, and prioritize opportunities for improvement
- Select and apply appropriate quality improvement methods and tools
- Describe how to sustain long-term improvement

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cme@mayo.edu. When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received. No refunds are granted less than 14 days before the course start date.
