This course is designed to update physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals practicing clinical gastroenterology and hepatology about new approaches to the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Faculty present data on multiple topics including general gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal neoplasia, esophageal diseases, motility, nutrition, pancreaticobiliary disorders, endoscopy and hepatology.
IBD symposium, will focuses on several aspects of the care of patients with IBD, including dysplasia surveillance, managing psychologic issues, extraintestinal manifestations of IBD, microscopic colitis and mastering the prior authorization process. This symposium also includes several case discussions involving multiple experts.
Concurrent lunch breakout sessions offering an extensive review and discussion of clinical topics.
Video presentations on complex endoscopy cases and new technology are presented by expert endoscopists. Controversies in diagnosis and management are analyzed in panel discussions.

Learning Objectives

- Review updates in management of ostomy care.
- Highlight new pharmaceutical options for patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
- Describe the diagnosis and management of eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders.
- Discuss best practices for addressing belching.
- Recognize management of subepithelial lesions found during routine endoscopy.
