Unfortunately, throwing arm injuries remain extremely prevalent, especially in baseball pitchers. In this CME webinar, Mayo Clinic experts will discuss some of the latest "hot topics" in sports medicine. Jeff T. Wight, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Kinesiology, will provide an overview of baseball pitching biomechanics, the throwing shoulder, and injury mechanisms. Ryan C. McCoy, P.T., D.P.T., OCS will present as well.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Summarize the biomechanics of the baseball pitch that have great potential to injure the throwing arm.
- Summarize the relevance of shoulder clinical assessments for external rotation and internal rotation.
- Summarize the relevance and limitations for wearable technology (that can be used to assess throwing arm biomechanics).
