The Mayo Osteopathic Research and Education Conference is a regional conference with an emphasis on osteopathic manual treatment and osteopathic research. It is a hub for networking and recruiting for osteopathic residents and physicians in the upper Midwest. Its focus is hands-on osteopathic education for residents and physicians.

Abstract Submissions Now Open


Workshop Abstracts

Use this submission form to submit your workshop proposal for the Mayo Osteopathic Research and Education (MORE) Conference. The last date for submission is January 29, 2027, after which the form will be closed.

  • Workshops on Friday, September 17 will be 45 minutes in length
    • Workshops on Friday will be repeated four times to separate small groups of approximately 10 participants.
    • Clinical workshops are intended to be practice-focused, and may not have presentation capabilities available.
  • Workshops on Saturday, September 18 will be 50 minutes in length
    • Workshops on Saturday will be given in a large-group setting with presentation capabilities available.

Primary submitters will receive notification by February 12, 2027, indicating whether their workshop proposal has been accepted for inclusion in the program.


Oral Presentation and/or Poster Abstracts

Present your research as a poster or oral presentation. Poster submissions will be accepted through August 30, 2027. Authors wishing to be considered for oral presentation need to have their abstract submitted by July 30, 2027 via the submission link. 

  • Abstract Eligibility: Original abstracts that either have or have not been presented at other meetings will be considered. Previously published abstracts should be sufficiently modified.
  • Submission Deadline: Poster submissions will be accepted through August 30, 2027. 
  • Notification of Results: Primary authors of submissions received July 30 or earlier will be notified by August 6 whether their submission has been accepted for a poster or oral presentation. Those submitted between July 30 - August 30 will be notified by September 6. 
  • Presentation of Abstracts: Abstracts chosen for presentation will be uploaded to the conference website and presented during the Mayo Osteopathic Research and Education (MORE) Conference on September 17 and/or September 18, 2027.
  • Registration Requirements:  Primary authors selected for presentation at the conference are expected to pay the registration fee and attend the course.

Abstracts will be evaluated based on quality of the abstract and relevance to the conference.

Target Audience

This course is designed for osteopathically trained physicians, residents and medical students learning about osteopathic manipulation, and researchers interested in manipulative medicine.
