Title: "Cardiac CT in Acute Ischemic Stroke: Segmental Left Atrial Appendage Opacification (SLAAO) as a Novel Imaging Biomarker"

Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Describe the rationale for extending CT angiography to the heart and aortic arch in the acute ischemic stroke diagnostic workup.
• Identify segmental left atrial appendage opacification (SLAAO) on cardiac CT
• Interpret the association between SLAAO and cardioembolic stroke mechanisms, including atrial cardiopathy and atrial fibrillation.
