Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Interpret the CREST-2 clinical trial data regarding management of patients with asymptomatic carotid stenosis
• Summarize the intensive medical management strategies used in the CREST-2 clinical trials
• Integrate the CREST 2 clinical trial in the context of current knowledge about management of asymptomatic carotid stenosis
• Select patients who may be most likely to benefit from an interventional procedure for asymptomatic carotid stenosis
