Mayo Clinic's OB/GYN practice has more than a 30-year history of conducting cutting-edge courses for practicing obstetric, gynecologic, family medicine and internal medicine providers. We are pleased to offer our fifth annual enterprise-wide clinical and surgical course drawing leading experts from Mayo Clinic Arizona, Florida, Rochester, and Mayo Clinic Health System.

Highlights encompassing all areas of OBGYN include practical talks, specifically:
- Preventing surgical site infection
- Contemporary fibroid care beyond hysterectomy
- Male and female infertility
- Adenomyosis
- Adolescent endometriosis
- Chronic pelvic pain and vulvodynia
- Measuring patient outcomes
- Redesigning prenatal care through AI and digital tools
- Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy
Hands-on laboratories including:
- Pelvic exam for pelvic pain
- ACOG endorsed ECO course: Emergency cases in obstetrics simulations
- Laparoscopic suturing
- 4th-degree laceration repair
- Multiple gynecologic procedure skills
**Special Resident/Fellow Programming
As part of the 2023 conference, the Mayo Clinic Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology department is offering special content for residents and fellows attending the LIVE conference. We are offering a scholarship to one resident or fellow. The candidate must be in good standing in their training program, must have time/support to attend, and have a commitment to promote the CME course content on social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) using the conference hashtag #MayoObGyn2023 to increase awareness and engage other ObGyn trainees around learning opportunities provided in the course. The scholarship will cover meeting registration including the postgraduate workshops.

Target Audience
This course is designed for practicing obstetricians, gynecologists, family practitioners, general internists, nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, residents, fellows and others who have an interest in women’s healthcare.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify surgical treatment options for adenomyoma and assess subsequent fertility outcomes
- Create a toolbox of diagnostic and therapeutic options for the care of patients with vulvodynia
- Describe the risk stratification of adnexal masses based on imaging findings
- Apply the most effective techniques to decrease surgical site infections

In order to receive the special rates, reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before the cut-off date of December 30, 2022, whichever comes first. After December 30, 2022, reservations will be taken on space and rate availability.
